Salam!

Niatan untuk membangun situs ini sebenarnya sudah muncul beberapa tahun lalu dari banyak rekan alumni seiring dengan mulai populernya blogging dan situs jejaring sosial untuk lebih memudahkan komunikasi baik sesama warga Kagama Canberra maupun dengan rekan Kagama di wilayah lainnya.

Alhamdulillah, akhirnya harapan untuk memiliki wadah komunikasi tersebut bisa terwujud. Harapan Bapak Atdikbud KBRI di Canberra (Prof. Dr. Aris Junaidi, FKH) agar Kagama Canberra bisa lebih mempunyai nilai tambah juga merupakan dorongan tersendiri bagi kami untuk membangun website yang memudahkan untuk mengumpulkan berbagai informasi seputar beasiswa, kesempatan kerja, riset, publikasi dan lainnya dari rekan-rekan di semua bidang yang sedang digelutinya yang mungkin sangat berguna bagi almamater tercinta maupun masyarakat pada umumnya.

Selain itu, situs ini juga dimaksudkan untuk menjadi semacam forum pertukaran ide dan networking bagi warga Kagama tak terbatas bagi yang masih aktif di Canberra, tetapi juga bagi yang sudah berkarir di Indonesia maupun di belahan dunia lainnya.

Yang terakhir, situs ini paling tidak dimaksudkan untuk merekam jejak langkah serta aktivitas warga Kagama di Canberra sehingga pada satu saat nanti bisa menjadi obat kangen bagi rekan-rekan yang ingin bernostalgia mengenang sepenggal jejak langkah kita di Canberra.
